HERE IS WHAT THE BIBLE HAS TO SAY:

1. REALIZE THAT YOU ARE A SINNER.

No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short. That is because we are all sinners. The Bible says, “There is none righteous, no not one.” (Romans 3:10).

2. REALIZE THAT THERE IS A PENALTY FOR SIN.

The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23). The penalty here is huge, and judgment is coming. “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15).

3. RECOGNIZE THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOU.

The Bible tells us that “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8). This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place on Calvary when we least deserved it.

4. REPENT OF YOUR SIN.

The Bible directs us, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out…” (Acts 3:19). The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him.

5. RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR LIFE.

Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him. . .” (Revelation 3:20). “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,..” (John 1:12). If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, sincerely pray this prayer to the Lord.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sin, and rose from the dead. Please forgive me for all my sin. I open the door of my heart and life. I invite You to come into my life and be my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”
